The Fintech company sells merchandise management and point-of-sale software and hardware under the Enfore brand. The target group is millions of small businesses for which solutions from SAP may be too complex or too expensive. Number Four has developed an open software platform for development, sales and marketing for small companies. Even before its official launch, the startup had raised more than $40 million in capital. Founder Marco Börries built up his first companies as a teenager, including the software developer Star Division and Star Finanz; Number Four is his fourth foundation.
